El Paso, TX & Ciudad Juárez, MX — The El Paso Community Foundation (EPCF) is proud to announce the return of Run Internacional: The U.S.–México 10K on Sunday, April 4, 2027 at 8am MT. Now in its eighth edition, the iconic binational race brings together runners from El Paso, Ciudad Juárez, and beyond for a unique celebration of health, community, and the connection between two cities and two nations.
Following strong demand in previous editions, the 2027 race will expand capacity to 5,000 runners. Registration opens Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 12pm MT, giving even more participants the opportunity to experience this one-of-a-kind cross-border event.
The signature International 10K route features shared downtowns of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez crosses the Stanton-Lerdo International Bridge, and passes historical landmarks, with a finish line at the international boundary line at the Paso del Norte International Bridge.
“This event reflects the deep cultural, social, and economic ties that bind our region,” said Eric Pearson, President and CEO of the El Paso Community Foundation. “We are excited to welcome even more runners to the starting line in 2027 and continue building on this incredible tradition.”
“Run Internacional: The U.S.–México 10K is more than a race; it is a symbol of what we can achieve together as one region and one community,” said Mario Porras, Vice President of International Affairs at the El Paso Community Foundation. “There are few events that allow us to physically cross the border together and celebrate the connection between our two cities. That is what makes this race so special.”

The event is made possible through collaboration of local, state, and federal authorities in both Mexico and the United States, especially the municipalities of Ciudad Juárez and City of El Paso, along with civil organizations, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who contribute to making this international race a successful and memorable experience for the community.
