The Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation and an Anonymous Fund held at the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona Offer Generous Matching Support.

El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank (EPFH) is honored to announce an urgent opportunity to help more neighbors in need:a $300,000 Match Challenge Campaign made possible through the generosity of the Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation and an Anonymous Fund held at the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona.

This critical campaign will match dollar-for-dollar donations up to $300,000, offering the community a chance to double their giving power at a time of deep need. With rising food insecurity and the largest cut to SNAP in its 50-year history, the support of our community has never been more vital.

Triple Impact Giving

This match applies to:

  • New Donors – Individuals or organizations making their first gift to EPFH.
  • Increased Gifts from Existing Donors – Current donors who go above and beyond their usual annual giving.
  • Returning Donors – Past supporters who have not given in the past year.

“This matching opportunity helps put real food on the table when families need it most,” said Susan Goodell, Chief Executive Officer of EPFH. “The Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation and the Anonymous Fund held at the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona for their unwavering commitment to our most vulnerable neighbors. Every dollar you give now goes twice as far, helping us put food on the tables of families who need it most.”

Why It Matters Now

EPFH serves El Paso, Hudspeth, and Culberson counties, where food insecurity affects 1 in 3 residents. As the only food bank in this tri-county area, EPFH distributed over 110 million pounds of food last year, but the need continues to grow.

Funds raised through this campaign will help:

  • Secure and distribute nutritious food
  • Sustain emergency food distributions four days a week
  • Support our most vulnerable neighbors, including children, seniors, veterans, and working families

How to Make an Impact

Donations can be made online at elpasoansfightinghunger.org, mailed to 9541 Plaza Circle, El Paso, TX 79927, or delivered in person during food bank hours (Tuesday–Friday).

El Pasoans Fighting Hunger’s mission is clear: to lead the fight against the ongoing hunger crisis in our region by partnering to provide nutritious food, education, and other vital resources. With your help, we can continue to feed hope and provide real solutions for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Today. Tomorrow. Together.
