El Paso, TX – January 8, 2026 – Girl Scouts, volunteers, and trucks will come together Saturday, January 17, 2026, as Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest officially launches the 2026 cookie season with a large-scale “Cookie Mega Drop” event in El Paso, TX.
The Cookie Mega Drop serves as the primary pickup site for Girl Scout troops to receive their cookie orders in preparation for sales starting Sunday, January 18, 2026. With volunteers and Girl Scouts participating, the Cookie Mega Drop is the start of one of the organization’s most impactful programs of the year.

Proceeds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program directly support leadership development, community service projects, and skill development opportunities for girls throughout the region.
