Join us for the African Heritage Week Kickoff Celebration, an evening dedicated to honoring African heritage, culture, and community through conversation, performance, and fashion. The celebration will feature guest speakers Meriam, founder of Rescue Women’s Foundation, Janace Griffin of the El Paso Black Arts Association, and Alexandra Peek of Peek’s Council, sharing perspectives on culture, creativity, and community empowerment. Guests are invited to support the Black community, celebrate cultural expression, enjoy live performances, and experience a fashion show highlighting African heritage, showcasing traditional and contemporary designs inspired by African culture. This free, city-supported event brings together local and international voices to kick off African Heritage Week with unity, creativity, and celebration.

Enjoy drinks and cocktails while connecting with Meriam, NGO founder from Uganda of Rescue Women’s Foundation, members of the El Paso Black Arts Association, designers, and models.
Guests can support the local African community, shop African jewelry, and engage with the creatives behind the work in a vibrant nightlife setting.
