The Hospitals of Providence Break Ground on Mission Ridge Campus Medical Office Building
EL PASO, Texas — In their continued effort to expand access to care, The Hospitals of Providence made yet another milestone for the region with the groundbreaking of The Hospitals of Providence Mission Ridge Campus Medical Office Building, located at 12951 Eastlake Blvd. El Paso, Texas 79928.
On Thursday, The Hospitals of Providence broke ground on a new 60,000 sq. ft. Medical Office Building located off Eastlake Blvd. and the future home for dedicated physicians to serve our community. The latest investment by the region’s largest healthcare provider represents a $21 million dollar capital investment to expand access to care and specialists in the Horizon and East El Paso area.
“We are incredibly excited to take this next step to ensure our friends and loved ones in Horizon City and East El Paso have access to the care they need close to home,” said Nicholas Tejeda, Western Group President for Tenet Healthcare. “With this new medical office building, we are actively recruiting new and needed physicians and specialists to our community to improve access to physician clinics and outpatient services.”
In addition to being the region’s largest healthcare network, The Hospitals of Providence also serves as El Paso’s largest private employer with over 5,000 employees and over 60 access points across the community.
“We have always said we are committed to growing with our community and as we have seen the area grow rapidly, we know this is a much-needed project to offer convenient access to care,” said Tejeda. “We look forward to the opening of our new Mission Ridge Campus Medical Office Building in the summer of 2026 to begin caring for patients in this area.”
