EL PASO, Texas — The largest locally-owned credit union in El Paso, GECU, has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2024.
Forbes and Statista Inc. conducted an independent survey of approximately 26,000 U.S. residents to identify the best credit unions in each state for 2024. Participants were asked to rate credit unions at which they have a checking or savings account on trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service and financial advice.
Based on the results of the study, GECU is honored to be recognized as a Forbes best-in-state credit union in Texas for the second time. GECU was ranked as the number one credit union in Texas by Forbes in 2022.
