Free Admission to New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum on September 7, 2024

WHAT: Experience New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum for free on September 7, 2024, for our annual Community Appreciation Day.

WHY: To offer all our community members an opportunity to visit, enjoy, and explore our museum. Enjoy pony rides for the kids ($5) from 10 a.m. to noon, and the “All Aboard the Ag Wagon” program will be introducing children ages 6–12 to the importance of pollinators from 10 a.m. to noon in a hands-on simulation. Guests can also tour all the Museum’s exhibits, including: The Dairy Spot: Discovery Center, Riding Herd with Billy the Kid: The Rise of the Cattle Industry in New Mexico, Home on the Range: Beyond the Farm: Groundbreaking Agriculture, Wheels & Gears, and check out the Museum’s livestock, including six different breeds of cattle, horses, sheep, and a donkey.
