Tequila and Mariachi Festival XXIV

The Consulate General of Mexico in El Paso and the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism in Ciudad Juárez (CANACO) are inviting members of the media to learn about the program of the Tequila Festival and Mariachi XXIV.

Who: Consul General of Mexico in El Paso, Mauricio Ibarra Ponce de León; the President of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism in Ciudad Juárez, Rogelio Ramos Guevara; the Director of Economic Development of the Municipality of Ciudad Juárez, Iván Antonio Pérez Ruiz, and the Director of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism in Ciudad Juárez, Francisco Moreno Villa Fuerte.

This annual festival is celebrating its XXIV edition and is considered to be the most important event of its kind in the country. It will take place over four days and will feature more than 50 tequila houses, 15 sotoleras, 15 mezcaleras and bacanoras. During the press conference, the participating houses will be announced.

The festival is part of the celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of Juan Gabriel.

Free parking is available in the lot located in the rear of the Consulate General at the corner of Virginia and Overland streets.

El Consulado General de México en El Paso, en coordinación con la Cámara Nacional de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo en Ciudad Juárez (Canaco), invitan a los medios de comunicación a conocer el programa del Festival del Tequila y del Mariachi XXIV.

Participantes: Cónsul General de México en El Paso, Mauricio Ibarra Ponce de León; el Presidente de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo en Ciudad Juárez, Rogelio Ramos Guevara; el Director de Desarrollo Económico del Municipio de Ciudad Juárez, Iván Antonio Pérez Ruiz, y el Director de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo en Ciudad Juárez, Francisco Moreno Villa Fuerte.

Celebrando su XXIV edición, el Festival del Tequila y del Mariachi es el evento más importante de su tipo y con mayor relevancia en el país, de acuerdo al Colegio Internacional de Técnicos y Maestros Tequileros.

Cabe destacar que serán cuatro días en la que todos los asistentes podrán disfrutar de más de 50 casas tequileras, 15 sotoleras,15 mezcaleras y bacanora, los cuales daremos a conocer durante la conferencia de prensa.

En esta ocasión, el festival forma parte de las celebraciones dedicadas al aniversario luctuoso de Juan Gabriel.
