Mc Allen, Texas presents Charlie Clark with a Proclamation and officially names June 27 as “Charlie Clark Day” Cameron and El Paso Counties also present proclamations
El Paso, TX, July 28, 2022 – Charlie Clark, founder of Charlie Clark Automotive Group with thirteen locations in Brownsville, Harlingen, El Paso, McAllen, Mission and Laredo and star and Executive Producer of the film Green Ghost & The Masters of the Stone, was presented with proclamations by Cameron and El Paso Counties. The film was entirely shot in Texas and supported local crafts and filmmaking.
Beginning with The City of McAllen officially naming June 27th “Charlie Clark Day” for his entrepreneurship and enriching the community through personal involvement and charitable support. “This is beyond what I ever imagined! I cannot thank each of the local governments enough for these prestigious recognitions,” said Clark. “Having the opportunity to make a movie with world class actors and be able to promote the Latino culture, family unity and also support local film-making alone has been amazing and to now have a day named after you is just surreal,” added Clark.
Just a month before, Charlie was also presented with a resolution in the city of El Paso, at the El Paso County Commissioner’s Court by County Judge Samaniego on May 9th. The resolution presented to Charlies was his initiative to promote the Hispanic culture, family unity, local filmmaking as well as tourism through the movie for the county of El Paso. “Again, this is surreal to me and just can’t express enough gratitude to everyone for their support,” added Clark.
The movie Green Ghost & The Masters of the Stone was originally released in Texas theaters on April 28th and is now available on multiple on demand platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, YouTube, ITunes, and Microsoft.

About Green Ghost and The Masters of the Stone:
In a Texas border town, car salesperson Charlie (CHARLIE CLARK) moonlights as a masked Lucha libre wrestler going by the name “Green Ghost.” When unknown assailants arrive seeking an otherworldly emerald, Charlie discovers that he has superpowers. As he learns to fight from the unconventional Master Gin (action film legend DANNY TREJO), Charlie is told that he is part of a secret warrior “triad of light” with his childhood friend Marco (KUNO BECKER) and Marco’s sister Karina (SOFIA PERNAS) led by La Nana (RENEE VICTOR). Together, they have been chosen to protect humanity from Drake (MARKO ZAROR), the embodiment of the Mayan apocalypse. As a stargate is opened in a Mexican pyramid, Drake seeks the power to destroy humankind — and Charlie also having access to the power of the emerald like Kuno, Sofia and Marco to successfully fill his role as a part of the “triad of light” to defeat the true Mayan apocalypse, Drake. Charlie must harness both his physical and mystical strength to help save humanity, along with his Latino superhero family, and go from Gringo to Green Ghost.
