Mark your calendars, El Paso! The Coolest ?? Fest in the Southwest is back! El Paso Winterfest, presented by The Hospitals of Providence and Providence Children’s Hospital returns to the borderland for its third year with a bigger, better and brighter season from November 23 – January 5.
Preparations are underway to officially kick off the season on Saturday, November 18, with the traditional Scherr Legate Celebration of Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony at San Jacinto Plaza. The Arts Festival Plaza will become a Winter Wonderland of glimmering lights and family-friendly activities. An outdoor ice-skating rink will once again serve as the focal point of the Winterfest holiday celebration, and popular attractions such as a vendors Winter Village, the Kringle Kafe, and a life-size snow globe for picture taking are expected to return as well. There are an expected 85,000 people that will attend Winterfest this year.
