PLAZA CLASSIC FILM FEST
A lot of people do not know that the worlds largest classic film festival takes place in El Paso Texas. Every August the Plaza Theatre transforms into a hub for film fans of all genres and ages. Fans are encouraged to purchase film fest passes that will allow patrons to see as many films as possible. Individual screening passes to each show are also on sale.

The El Paso Community Foundation’s Plaza Classic Film Festival celebrates its 10th Anniversary with guest appearances by Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws, Mr. Holland’s Opus and more) and Academy Award and Tony Award nominee Kathleen Turner (Peggy Sue Got Married, Romancing the Stone and more). Animators Don Bluth (El Paso native) and Gary Goldman will also appear for an on-stage interview before the screening of their 1982 animated hit, Secret of NIMH.
Tickets are on sale NOW for more than 90 movies including greatest hits such as: The Graduate, Casablanca, Singin’ and the Rain, Psycho, Jaws and a rare showing of Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
