Shawver Park Light Display

Entertainment schedule starts at 5:00 p.m. on November 29, 2013

The Shawver Park Light Display presented by Mayor and City Council as proposed by Representative Eddie Holguin Jr., will begin with the entertainment on Friday, November 29, 2013.

The park located at 8100 Independence Dr. will have the holiday lighting displays for public viewing daily from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

City Council Rep. Eddie Holguin Jr. says, “We look forward to offering great entertainment and decorative lights for the entire family to enjoy before the holiday season.”

Entertainment will be each Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. through December 20^th coinciding with the final day of this first time event. The first nights entertainment on November 29^th will be Diversified, a local choir singing traditional holiday songs in English and Spanish.

Residents are encouraged to follow the attached map for access to the lighting display at Shawver Park.  Residents will enter the park through a one-way road to the gazebo, where the lighting display is located.  Once at the venue, 34 holiday themed displays will be available for viewing along with hot chocolate drink concessionaire on site as well.
