Crime Trend ALERT: Circuit Breakers Thefts and Burglaries

The far eastside of El Paso is currently experiencing an increase of residential Circuit Breaker Thefts and Burglaries. Attached are photos depicting the stolen items from inside the breaker boxes. These items are primarily stolen during the night or early morning hours. The offenders are removing these circuit breakers from new homes and homes under construction.

Please be on the look-out for any suspicious vehicles in the new sub-division areas. A Possible suspect vehicle is a charcoal grey 2005-2008 Ford F-150 or F-250 with large tires and a loud exhaust.

If you notice any suspicious vehicles or individuals in the new eastside residential sub-divisions, please call the El Paso Police Department Non-Emergency number at 832-4400 or if you witness a theft or burglary in progress call 911.
