Your El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has piñatas, papel-picado and Navy Flags flying high and proud as they get ready for the most anticipated annual event in our Sun City. The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is inviting the El Paso Community to the Chamber’s 23rd Anniversary Fiesta Celebration & Piñata Bash, scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel. Come and join us as we celebrate our 23 years of service to El Paso and what is right with our community…our businesses!
This year’s guest speaker will be Marcus Luttrell Decorated Navy SEAL & Best-Selling Author of Lone Survivor, who will share his story of four Navy SEALs who journeyed into the mountainous border of Afghanistan and Pakistan on Operation Redwing. We are very fortunate that we have the participation of a powerful, vibrant and best-selling author to share his inspirational story and it’s guaranteed to leave everyone in attendance in awe!
His testimony not only pays a tribute to all the men and women who give us our freedom to live and run our businesses. But vividly demonstrate an example of how to grasp your own Power from Within and find the will, courage and ambition to continue running the business that continuously gives you triumphs and tribulations. Stay tuned for the motion picture of the 2007 #1 New York Times Best Selling Book, with Mark Wahlberg starring as Marcus Luttrell.
“We need to be thankful of the many blessings that have been given to us because of all the men and women who have served our great country,” stated Cindy Ramos Davidson, CEO of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “Men like Marcus Luttrell shine a light on the honor, courage, perseverance and patriotism of what we should do as business owners and entrepreneurs in our everyday business practices. We should constantly be giving them the recognition and appreciation from all of us who enjoy the freedoms of this great country. Running a business and having choices and rights protected by the sacrifice of their lives and families is truly something to be grateful for. Marcus Luttrell will definitely leave us with that message and motivation to get up and find that Power From Within that we all most certainly have.”
This year’s “Fiesta Celebration & Piñata Bash” will include a General Reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m., and comments by Marcus Luttrell and Awards at 8:15 p.m. Other events include the presentation of the Chamber’s “Moving Forward Award” and the “Vision of Excellence Award”. The conclusion of this year’s event will be enjoyed by the smooth sounds of James Clarkson in the Piñata Bar and guests will be able to interact and connect with friends and colleagues.
A special addition to the evening’s event will be a Tequila Toast, Hat’s Off Salute and a chance for one of our lucky guests to win a Piñata filled with $1,000 worth of great items, services and programs from our member businesses and partners.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, November 1, 2013…we know it will be a great celebration, a festive evening and we hope to warm your hearts with a very special gift as our thanks to you our members, our business, our partners, and our community.
