On Thursday, September 19, Mayor Oscar Leeser will announce and kick off the Mayors United Against Texting While Driving social media Drive 4 Pledges. Mayor Oscar Leeser and the City of El Paso have partnered with El Paso Community College (EPCC), AT&T and the It Can Wait movement to launch this initiative in an effort to combat the dangerous practice of texting while driving. The Mayor, EPCC President, Dr. William Serrata, along with a representative from AT&T, will discuss the specifics of the campaign, the It Can Wait movement and the dangers of texting while driving.
