Sun Metro Detours Route 84 for Horizon Boulevard Project

Effective immediately, Sun Metro will be required to detour Route 84 due to the Horizon Boulevard Project.

Although Route 84 is able to travel through Horizon Blvd, three bus stops are being impacted because buses are unable to safely stop and pick-up or drop-off passengers. Those stops are:

·       Horizon at North Loop

·       Horizon at Homan

·       Horizon at Across

Sun Metro staff is currently working on placing alternate bus stops in safe locations along the construction route for passengers.

The construction project is expected to last about 15 months and consists of new sewer lines, street widening, curb enhancements and lighting.

Sun Metro staff will monitor the construction as it progresses and make necessary adjustments.
