Sun Metro Detours Eleven Routes in Downtown Area

Due to Downtown road resurfacing, Sun Metro will be required to detour Routes 1, 4, 9, 21, 22, 42, 55, 59, 61, 62 and 66 beginning TOMORROW, Wednesday, August 14.

This detour will take place from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and will be in effect until Thursday, August 15. This detour is subject to change due to weather activity that may hinder construction activity.

Road closures will take place along Texas from Mesa to Kansas and along Stanton from Mills to San Antonio.

THE FOLLOWING BUS STOPS WILL NOT BE SERVICED:

·   Myrtle at Kansas

·   Texas at Oregon

Sun Metro staff will be on-site to help direct passengers to alternate bus stops.

ABOUT THE DETOURS

Route 1, 42 & 59 Detour

Buses traveling inbound, west on Missouri will turn left onto Kansas, right onto Paisano, left onto Santa Fe into the Downtown Transfer Center.

Route 4 Detour

Buses traveling inbound, north on Campbell will turn left onto Mills, right onto Stanton returning to the regular route.

Route 9 Detour

Buses traveling outbound, east on San Antonio will turn right onto Kansas returning to the regular route.

Route 21, 22, 55 & 62 Detour

Buses traveling inbound, west on Myrtle will turn left onto Kansas, right onto Paisano, left onto Oregon, right onto Fourth into the Downtown Transfer Center.

Route 61 & 66 Detour

Buses traveling inbound, west on Texas will turn left onto Kansas, right onto Paisano, left onto Santa Fe into the Downtown Transfer Center.
