Five Fort Bliss Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan

Five Fort Bliss Soldiers, assigned to 1/1 AD, were killed in an IED blast in Maiwand District in Kandahar Province on May 4, 2013.

The Soldiers were on a mounted patrol near Combat Outpost Hutal at approximately 1:30 PM local time, Afghanistan, when their vehicle struck the IED.
