Free Parking Lot Fair Celebrates Summer Exhibit
(EL PASO, TX) – Colorful reptiles, artists sharing colorful techniques and games zeroing in on the use of vibrant tints are on tap for the free parking lot fair at Lynx Exhibits, 300 W. San Antonio Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 5.
The fair celebrates the opening of Lynx’ new exhibit, “Color Play, Exploring the Art and Science of Color.” The family-oriented fair includes prizes, food, a jumping balloon and hands-on activities ranging from art workshops with local artists and crafts to drawing contests and live “colorful” creatures from Livecargo Pets and Supplies. Visitors who choose to see “Color Play” on opening day receive a special $5 per person fee.
Color Play features an array of color-themed activities and games for the entire family.
Visitors turn a crank to create a neon sculpture, star in a color dance, explore a giant three-room playhouse, and investigate the many uses of blue, among other activities. Save time to experience El Paso’s first “Lazer Frenzy,” a challenging, arcade-style laser maze. Color
Play will be at Lynx Exhibits through Sept. 5.
